2. Pinterest API Usage

This application uses the Pinterest API v5 to create and manage pins and boards on behalf of authenticated users. When a Pinterest account is connected, the OAuth 2.0 protocol is used to securely request the following permissions:

• boards:read — View your boards
• boards:write — Create boards on your behalf
• pins:read — View your pins
• pins:write — Create pins on your behalf
• user_accounts:read — View your account profile

Pins created through this tool use original, AI-generated visual content and SEO-optimized copy. Content from other Pinterest users is not scraped, copied, or duplicated.

This application is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest. "Pinterest" is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc. All Pinterest trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners.

4. Data We Collect

When using this tool, the following data may be collected and stored:

• OAuth credentials: Your Pinterest access token and refresh token (stored securely in an encrypted database)
• Pin metadata: Pin IDs, board IDs, titles, descriptions, and image paths created through our pipeline
• Performance metrics: Impressions, clicks, and conversions retrieved via the Pinterest Analytics API
• Email addresses: Email addresses submitted by users on our bridge pages (for Lead capture and autoresponder enrollment)
• Campaign data: Campaign IDs, tracking IDs, and offer URLs associated with your pins

5. Data Handling on Disconnect

When the Pinterest account is disconnected from this tool, all Pinterest-derived data is deleted from the database within 48 hours. This includes:

• OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens
• Pin references and board references retrieved from Pinterest
• Cached Pinterest metadata (account info, board names, pin IDs)
• Analytics data retrieved via the Pinterest API

Immediate deletion of all data can be requested via the contact form. All deletion requests are processed within 48 hours.

6. No Resale or Redistribution

Pinterest content and Pinterest-derived data is not resold, redistributed, or shared with any third parties. All Pinterest data accessed through this tool is used solely for creating and managing pins within the connected Pinterest account. Specifically:

• Sell or license Pinterest data to advertisers or data brokers
• Share Pinterest-derived data with marketing partners or affiliates
• Use Pinterest data to train AI models for third parties
• Export Pinterest content to external databases or platforms

7. Data Security

Data security is taken seriously. All OAuth tokens are stored in an encrypted database on a secured server. HTTPS/TLS encryption is used for all data in transit between the browser, servers, and the Pinterest API.

8. Email Data (Bridge Pages)

When a visitor submits their email address on one of the landing pages, the email is securely transmitted to an email service provider (SEND13) for delivering requested content. Email data is not shared with Pinterest and is used only for the campaign associated with the specific pin. Visitors can unsubscribe at any time.

9. Your Rights

The following rights apply regarding data:

• Right to access: You can request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Right to deletion: You can request that we delete all your data at any time
• Right to disconnect: The Pinterest account can be disconnected at any time, which triggers automatic data deletion
